Browns, Jaguars Inactive List For Week 1: Shedeur Sanders, Taylen Green Statuses Official
The Cleveland Browns take on the Jacksonville Jaguars in the heat of Florida in Week 1 of the 2026 NFL season. A lot to be excited about if the Browns can get off to a good start against the Jaguars. We know Cleveland fans will be tuning in and wearing their gear for the start of this season.
With the inactive reports out, QB Shedeur Sanders is officially the Browns backup quarterback, as HC Todd Monken stated would happen, with rookie QB Taylen Green inactive as the emergency quarterback, which means he can only enter the game if both starter Deshaun Watson and Sanders are ruled out for the contest.
