This year feels a little bit different. It seems that we all feel that way.
Noting that things feel different is its own thing. Just because things are different does not mean that they are different if that makes sense.
This idea will carry more weight next week when NFL free agency opens. The Dallas Cowboys have notoriously been a team who sits out the early windows of free agency and while being active is hardly the only thing the team needs to consider adjusting as far as their overall disposition, being different in that sense would be some serious proof of a changing tide.
