Chiefs Adding Player Just Waived By Bills
For a few weeks, many of us thought fullback would be part of the Buffalo Bills 53-man roster, but now the lone candidate to fill that role from late August will be on the practice squad of their biggest rival.
According to Jordan Schultz, VanSumeren will join the Chiefs practice squad:

Ben VanSumeren, who did beat out rookie undrafted free agent Jackson Acker this summer after Bills training camp, was somewhat surprisingly waived by Buffalo before the roster cut deadline on Sunday at 6 p.m. on Sunday, August 31.
What’s interesting about this decision is the Bills either did not decide to keep BVS on their practice squad OR he chose to sign in Kansas City.
Then again, Buffalo did decide to keep four tight ends, so it was clear that the team was not nearly as interested in the fullback position as some fans were.
