We're just about at the halfway point of the 2026 season and fantasy football lineups are always in flux. We have the Steelers vaunted defense on bye in Week 9, so plenty of fantasy managers will be seeking a weekly replacement. Justin Boone offers some help with his top D/ST units to stream off the waiver wire.

Chiefs vs. Jets: New York heads to Kansas City, where the Chiefs will be looking to end a two-game skid. The early spread is Chiefs -10, which is prime for a D/ST playing at home. A team this motivated is dangerous and we know Geno Smith can be turnover prone.

Lions at Dolphins: Since the Week 6 bye, the Lions defense has limited opponents to 17 points or fewer in back-to-back weeks. That could continue against Miami, which is allowing the sixth-most fantasy points to D/ST this season.

Saints vs. Browns: The Saints come off their bye and face a Cleveland unit that ranks 29th in points scored this season. New Orleans posted 12+ fantasy points in two of three games prior to the bye week.
