Welcome to the New York Giants betting angle, Week 4 edition! Each week, I’m giving you my three favorite wagers for that week’s New York Giants game. My one rule: I won’t ever give you wagers that are less than -120. No gimmes!

The Giants are 2-1, after narrowly escaping against the lowly Titans in the wind and rain last Sunday. The good news is they get to stay at home for another game against one of the league’s weaker teams. The Arizona Cardinals are this week’s visitors, and they come in 1-2 after losing a 36-30 shootout in San Francisco last Sunday.

Her’s one way to look at this stretch of New York’s schedule – Big Blue had the fifth pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, and their Week 3 and 4 opponents – both at home – are two of the teams that picked ahead of them.

You’d think the Giants would be favored this week, and before the season began, that was correct. But that was then, and this is now, and the devastating Jaxson Dart injury changed everything. Throw in last week’s season-ending injury to the Giants’ best player on the other side of the ball (Brian Burns), and our boys are underdogs, at home, to a team that came into this season with the second lowest projected win total in the league.

The Cardinals have been frisky, and better than advertised. They started their season with a big road upset over the Chargers, before predictably losing to two of the three powerhouses in their division. There’s no shame in losing to the Seahawks and 49ers, and they’re no pushover. Unlike Tennessee, they’ve got some very dangerous weapons on offense, which could cause problems for Dennard Wilson’s depleted defense. This game is one respite in what is truly a brutal stretch of their schedule.

I had a very nice 3-0 sweep with my column picks last week (woo-hoo!) and will try to stay hot this week. I had a lot of trouble making my game pick for the Staff picks column, so I’m staying away from the line.

Let’s get to this week’s picks. All lines and odds are from Fanduel and are as of Friday, October 2. The forecast for Sunday is cloudy and comfortable, with a slight chance of light rain. After last week, I don’t think anyone will mind a little drizzle.

The line for the game is Cardinals -2.5, with a game total of 43.5.

  1. Game total OVER 43.5 (-118). This total feels low to me. The Giants have played it very conservative in Jameis Winston’s first two games, and the result has been just one interception, but also zero touchdowns in 20 drives. You can chalk some of that up to the circumstances of the first game and the weather in the second. They’re going to need to score in the 20s (at least) to win this game and I think you’ll see a more aggressive game plan. On the other side of the ball, Arizona has several players who can move the chains and make big plays, and I won’t be surprised if this is a mini-shootout. Both teams have notable injuries on defense. 43.5 is a relatively low total – grab it.
  2. Jeremiyah Love most rushing yards in the game (-110). The Cardinals got roasted for taking a running back with the third pick in the 2026 draft. We’ll never know if the G-Men would’ve taken him if he fell to pick five. After recovering from an ankle injury suffered in the first preseason game, Love is beginning to assert himself. After seeing just 20 carries across the first two games, he got 21 last week, to just two for running mate Tyler Allgeier. Coach Mike LaFleur cited a “hot hand” approach, but they didn’t use a Top-3 pick on Love to keep him in the garage. The QBs are old and don’t run much, so to hit this prop Love basically just has to outgain Cam Skattebo, who is splitting the work with two other backs. I like those odds.
  3. Michael Wilson OVER 57.5 receiving yards (-114). Wilson saw 17 targets last week. Sounds like an outlier game, right? It’s not. He was targeted ten or more times in five of Jacoby Brissett’s starts last season, and at least seven times in all but one of Arizona’s final nine games last season. The Giants’ pass rush and secondary are depleted, and it was troubling to see Cam Ward picking them apart on the final two drives last Sunday, in terrible weather. Brissett should have success finding his favorite targets and that includes Wilson.

Those are the picks for Week 4. Good luck with your wagers! And if you play fantasy football, be sure to check out my Week 4 fantasy preview, with start/sit advice and more, right here.
