Odell Beckham Jr. Reportedly Makes Giants' 53-man Roster

Odell Beckham Jr. is back where he started.

The veteran NFL receiver has made the 53-man roster for the New York Giants, according to multiple reports.

Beckham, a first-round pick (No. 12) by the Giants out of LSU, took the NFL by storm as one of league’s most exciting and productive receivers when he joined the NFL in 2014. He led the league with 108.8 receiving yards per game as a rookie en route to Rookie of the Year Honors.

Beckham, 33, made the Pro Bowl in each of his first three seasons and was twice named second-team All-Pro while tallying 1,300-plus yards and 10-plus receiving touchdowns in each of his first three seasons.

Beckham sustained a severe ankle fracture in his fourth NFL season, and his career hasn’t been the same since. The injury limited to Beckham to four games in 2017, and the Giants eventually traded him to the Cleveland Browns prior to the 2019 season.

Beckham has since played for the Rams, Ravens and Dolphins, largely as a role player. He hasn’t made a Pro Bowl or All-Pro team since his third NFL season. He hasn’t eclipsed 600 yards in a single season since 2019, when he tallied 1,035 yards and 4 touchdowns with the Browns.

Beckham joins a Giants team seeking to emerge in 2026, the second season with quarterback Jaxson Dart and the first under head coach John Harbaugh. He’ll provide the Giants with a with trusted, veteran presence on the wide receiver depth chart as a fan favorite who will be be eagerly welcomed back at MetLife Stadium on Sundays.

How much he can contribute on the field remains to be seen.

The Giants are also counting on Beckham mentor rising star Malik Nabers, who is returning this season from an ACL tear that limited him to four games in his second NFL season. Nabers’ position with the Giants is not unlike Beckham’s during his first stint in New York.

A first-round pick (No. 6) in 2024 out of LSU, Nabers quickly delivered on his promise with a Pro Bowl campaign as a rookie, tallying 109 receptions for 1,204 yards and 7 touchdowns. The Giants are counting on Nabers to eventually rekindle that form as the focal point of their passing game and a game breaker for their offense.

It’s a role that Beckham once filled for New York as one of the league’s most exciting young receivers. He returns to a considerably different job in 2026, but one that the Giants are hoping can make an impact in the locker room, on the practice field and on game days.
