The Green Bay Packers are trading edge rusher Rashan Gary to Dallas Cowboys, according to multiple reportson Monday.

The Packers will receive a 2027 fourth-round pick in return, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Green Bay drafted Gary out of Michigan with the No. 12 overall pick in 2019. He piled up 46.5 sacks over the past seven seasons, most notably making the Pro Bowl in 2024.

Speculation that the Packers could part ways with him began after he posted a goodbye message to the team last Friday, three days before reports of his trade to the Cowboys surfaced.

"When I got the call in 2019, it was one of the greatest moments of my life, and it always will be," Gary seemingly posted on Instagram at the time.

"The opportunity to represent Green Bay and Packers Nation across the country and around the world is something I will never forget. Like all chapters in life, this one has come to an end."

That post was quickly deleted, and it was later reported by multiplesources that Gary's Instagram had been hacked.

Regardless, Gary is reportedly heading to Dallas, where the 28-year-old will continue his NFL career. He's coming off his second consecutive season with 7.5 sacks and finished last season with 45 tackles, 1 forced fumble and 1 fumble recovery in 16 games.
