7 LA #Rams players had contract triggers vest this weekend:

QB Matthew Stafford’s $40M 2026 salary is now guaranteed

OT Alaric Jackson’s $18.9M 2026 salary is now guaranteed

WR Davante Adams earned a $6M roster bonus

Stafford let it be known last month that he fully intended to return to the team in 2026 and this $40 million guarantee only sets it in stone.

Adams did get a roster bonus and that makes it clear that L.A. doesn’t want to outright release him, but it could also make him more attractive as a trade asset.

Even though Parkinson only got $1.5 million, it further cements how far the tight end has come since a hugely disappointing first season with the Rams in 2024. Parkinson could be the team’s number one tight end next season.

And A.J. Jackson has come a long way since going undrafted as he’s now one of the richest left tackles in the league.
