With their summer league complete, the Sixers now have two dates on their 2026 preseason schedule.
The Sixers appear twice on the preseason slate the Celtics announced Monday. They’re set to visit Boston on Oct. 10 at 8 p.m. ET and host the Celtics on Oct. 16 at 7 p.m. ET.
The games against the Celtics should be more intriguing than average preseason matchups. The Sixers came back to beat the Celtics in a seven-game first-round playoff series, then dealt Paul George and draft picks to Boston this summer in exchange for Jaylen Brown.
The rest of the Sixers’ preseason schedule has not yet been released. The team played two of its four exhibition games last year in Abu Dhabi and the most notable preseason development was rookie VJ Edgecombe securing an opening-night starter spot.
The full NBA regular-season schedule is typically released in mid-August. The Sixers already know they’ll be in East Group B for the 2026 NBA Cup with the Knicks, Cavaliers, Heat and Pacers.
