Titans Sign Peter Skoronski To Market-setting Contract Extension

Tennessee Titans' Peter Skoronski is the newly crowned high-paid guard in the NFL.

Skoronski signed a four-year contract extension with the Titans on Friday, Aug. 7, the team announced. NFL Network reported Skoronski's deal is worth $100 million with $88 million guaranteed. The contract makes him the richest guard in the NFL.

Skoronski's been a linchpin on Tennessee's offensive line and a key protector for 2025 No. 1 overall pick quarterback Cam Ward. He played every offensive snap and started all 17 games in each of the past two seasons.

According to Pro Football Focus, Skoronski was the Titans' top offensive lineman in both pass blocking and run blocking last season. He gave up just two sacks and 23 pressures in 2025.

The 6-foot-4, 330-pound guard has given up 11 sacks and 83 pressures in 1,750 career snaps over the course of three seasons.

The Titans drafted Skoronski No. 11 overall in the 2023 NFL Draft out of Northwestern. In addition to his durability, he brings size, athleticism and physicality to the guard position. The Titans showed that they believe Skoronski is a key cog to their offense.

"Thank you to Ms. Amy, Mike Borgonzi and Coach Saleh for believing in me. From the moment I got here, this is where I wanted to be. I love this organization, I love this city, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to continue representing this franchise. I appreciate the faith they've shown in me, and now it's my job to earn it every day. I'm excited for what's ahead, but more than anything, I'm ready to get back to work."
