Showoff Saturday: Built A High-converting Local Home Services Agency Template For Rank & Rent / Lead Gen (react + Tailwind). Thoughts On The Ux/flow?
Hey everyone,
I wanted to share a recent build I deployed to Vercel. In local lead generation (especially competitive verticals like plumbing, HVAC, and electrical where PPC CPCs are high), I noticed many local business sites suffer from poor mobile layouts, sluggish load times, and missing conversion triggers.
I designed and coded this home services agency layout from scratch to test a performance-first, high-converting framework.
Live Demo:https://northbayhomeservices.vercel.app
Tech Stack & Performance
- Frontend: React + Tailwind CSS
- Hosting: Deployed globally on Vercel
- Optimization: Prioritized Core Web Vitals, lightweight bundle size, semantic HTML structure, and clean responsive breakpoints for mobile traffic (which makes up 70%+ of emergency contractor visits).
Key Conversion Elements Included
- Interactive Before/After Slider: Visual proof component for emergency repairs and renovations.
- Local Trust & Validation Blocks: Modular sections for ZIP code service-area checks and transparent ballpark price guides.
- Tiered Membership Layout: Silver, Gold, and Platinum Care Club tables designed to pitch recurring maintenance contracts (MRR).
- Referral Incentive Structure: Built-in "Refer a Neighbor" incentive modules to capture local word-of-mouth loops.
The demo is currently styled around a Northern California service area (the 707 area code), but the layout is entirely modular and niche-agnostic.
I would love to get your feedback on the visual hierarchy, call-to-action placement, and mobile flow.
