I'm going to be as anonymous as possible, throwaway account of course.

I work in sales. I get paid half upfront and half on delivery of products.

Several of my coworkers and I have had our paychecks bounce twice. The first time this happened, it was the first check of the month, and I was issued a replacement the following Friday. I refused to work until I received the new check and it cleared.

Exactly one month later it happened again. I was issued an immediate replacement and continued working.

Orders should be received by customers with 8 weeks of ordering according to what we promise. This is not happening. Customers from 12/2025 are still on backorder. As of 2026 I am still owed over 20k in commissions (assuming my upcoming check does not bounce, then add more).

I have many upset customers asking me what is happening. Some of them claim to have been charged for their orders already (they shouldn't pay until receipt). I have no ability to see what is happening on the back end, so I have no answers for them, and on top of that I'm not getting paid enough to make ends meet because orders are not delivered.

Do my coworkers and I have any sort of recourse we can take to help ourselves and our customers in this situation? If I leave, will I still be able to get the money I am owed? What should I do? I am considering just cutting my losses and leaving. Help needed please!!!
