Arrested For Supposed Violation Of Probation For Underage Drinking 26 Years Ago!
Location: Florida - Received a citation 26 years ago for underage drinking or maybe minor in possession of alcohol. This was in college when I was 20!!! They had a "diversion program" and I did that before moving. Was never on probation. Thought it was all settled.
I've worked for an airline that does extensive background checks. No issues. Ive had my license run for a speeding years ago. No issues.
I believe this was "dug up" because the police in my current city thought I was lying to them about where my fiancé was.
He was on probation for a reckless driving and a warrant was issued because he missed an appt. It's all cleared up now, but for about 7-8 days, the police had come to our house, pounding on the door looking for him. I came out and talked to them, told them he wasn't here, gave them my info. They came back a 3rd time, and I went out to talk to them again. They continued to ask about fiancé and where he was.
Do I need to hire an attorney? This is crazy.
