Boyfriend With Schizophrenia Refuses To Move Out.
Location: Orange County, California. I (50f) don’t know what to do about my boyfriend (36m). He lived in Iowa and about a year and half ago he lost his home. I live in California and he has been living with me for the past year and half because of it. I did not invite him to live with me especially since he has no job and refuses to get one. For the past 3 months he has been displaying obvious signs of some type of mental condition. Schizophrenia runs in his family and I think that is what he has. He is delusional, constantly talking to himself, and paranoid. Sometimes I fear he will hurt me because his mood is very inconsistent and unpredictable. He threatens to blackmail me and he has set up hidden cameras throughout my home to record my every move. I just want him to move out. I do not want to deal with these type of issues and I do not want to be in this relationship. I have told him to leave but he won’t. He says he has nowhere to go. He says it’s my fault he lost his home so I should allow him to live with me in California. My question is what can I do legally to have him move out?
