Car Accident Injury, Missouri
So my boyfriend got into a car accident on September 25th. He was turning left off a 2-lane highway to turn down our gravel road when a guy behind him was running probably 70mph and T-boned him trying to pass him in the opposing lane (crossed a double yellow line too). My boyfriend’s car is totaled and has a dislocated shoulder, dislocated upper rib and lost a tooth. We also think his jaw may have been slightly dislocated but it popped back into place and he feels much better now. The guy that hit him seemed to not know what was going on and didn’t realize that he hit him. The highway patrol breathalyzed him on the scene and he blew a .04. We’ve heard that he’s been doing drugs but don’t know for sure. My boyfriend is very lucky to have pretty minor injuries because the wreck was really bad and could have been much worse. The guy didn’t file an insurance claim so we don’t really know what to do. Should we take legal action against this guy? Any advice helps! Thanks in advance! Location: Missouri
