Do I Have Grounds For A Restraining Order

i (F20) have been dealing with constant cyber stalking from an ex since 2022. we dated for about 2/3 months , our relationship ended with me charging him for damaging my car when he was trying to fight one of my friends that was in it but his parents paid me $700 to drop the charges. for a year after that he called me off a *67 number atleast 4 times a day, tried to swat my (now ex) bf , threatened someone he thought i was with , and has made ATLEAST 10-15 different accounts on all social media platforms through the 4 years after we broke up trying to reach out to me. i have asked him each time he has reached out to stop messaging me but i got to the point where i didn’t respond and automatically blocked him.
recently he has tried friending my sister on instagram and friended my mother on facebook. once he did that i messaged him and told him he is making me uncomfortable, asked him AGAIN to stop messaging me and my family. 10 minutes after i sent the message he sent one to my mom basically asking her how she was doing and said he wanted to “clear his name”.
he does not live in the same state as me anymore i dont think but i am exhausted of having to deal with him constantly trying to get in contact with me and messaging my mother is insane. i am literally terrified to see this man in public one day.
do i have grounds for a restraining order ?
