Ex Filed Nco After I Moved Out That's Still Affecting Me.

My ex wife filed a NCO 6 months after I moved out in 2021 because she's petty like that but I don't care anymore. However, it has since expired a year later in 2022. However the firearms related prohibition attached to it is still affecting me and I can't seem to figure out a path forward to resolve the problem.

According to the text on the NCO, I must send a formal request to the state Department of Public Safety requesting the rights be restored. However they said it is not their responsibility as they weren't the issuing authority and it is up to the court to update the record.

I submitted an order through the courts online system they responded saying it is not their responsivity to restore my firearms rights and that the law states it is up to the DPS, so that was denied.

I contacted the sheriffs office, they said the same thing the DPS said, it is up to the court. So I sent another order to the court and they reiterated that is is not their responsibility and that any other requests on this case will be automatically denied. Basically telling me to fuck off.

So I'm not sure what to do. I've contacted numerous lawyers and I have yet to find one that will handle the case as they all say they don't do firearm related issues.

I'm kind of at a loss here.

The crazy part about it is that I went to the court and requested my seized property(the guns she turned in that I left in the house when I moved out) and they granted that request.
