Generator Service Performed Without Consent
Was on vacation to Europe and returned back to a bill in the mail for generator tune up and service (fluid, filter and battery change) of $600 or so.
Now they performed a service in july 2025 but my generator wasnt working right through the winter months (would shut down after 20 minutes). I called a bunch of times for a refund but after a few call backs of we'll have a manager look into it, nothing. Needless to say I didn't like their service nor wanted them to step foot on my property again.
I didn't call them yet, but neighbor had issue with his generator last week and I talked to the guy who did the uncalled work. He said everyone is automatically enrolled in yearly maintenance unless you opt out. Now I was never told this in scheduling last year and never signed up for any yearly service.
Do I contact an attorney first before calling them? They basically trespassed through a closed but not locked gate while no one was home without even calling me to confirm anything.

July 2025 original service for generator, had AC14 fault before they came out
August 2025 they came out to fix AC14 fault. fault was never fixed, I called a bunch of times for refund pn this, never went more than we'll look at it and call you back
