Grandpa Passed Away And We Don't Know Where The Will Is But Current Wife Might Be Evicting Us From Childhood Home

[Location: Los Angeles, CA] My grandpa just passed away about a month ago and the funeral was just held this past week. Since then, I have asked a few of my older family members who live/lived in my home. I have lived here my whole life (almost 21 years) but my grandapa had remarried when I was young (around 4-6 y/o). His current wife has made comments about selling the house and her being in charge of the house now but no one seems to have any information for me regarding the house's ownership.

As far as I'm aware, the original will stated that the bottom half of the house would go to my dad and the top half would go to my uncle as my grandpa had originally built the top half almost 50 years ago for my uncle. My father passed away first so that ownership was meant to be passed off to my mother and me when my grandpa would pass next.

Now, we are unsure of what to do and if she has the right to take ownership over the house. I have lived in this house longer than she has and as it is my childhood, originally built for our family with my grandpa's first wife.

Is there anything I can do as we fear if she does have ownership, she will be evicting us.
