How Do I Get Health Insurance With No Income? (married But Husband Is Dropping Me From His Insurance)

Card image cap

Location: California. My husband filed for divorce and he's dropping me from his insurance when it's time for renewal in a couple of months. We both live in the same house with our child. His income is way too high for me to qualify for Medi-Cal (200k/year). I can't afford any of the covered California health Care plans because I don't have an income. I don't qualify for Medi-Cal because my husband makes so much money per year. I don't know what I'm going to do. I'm diabetic and I need to go to the doctor every month.

More info that is possibly needed: I don't have a job because I cannot find a babysitter who will watch my special needs kid (ADHD and possible ODD, He's very destructive and gets kicked out of daycares constantly).

I'm doing the divorce pro se. Please don't advise me to get a lawyer, I've tried that so many times. I can't afford it and none of the ones I spoke to are willing to work with me. I know I can file in court for my husband to pay my attorney's fees, but they want me to retain the attorney with my own money first and then they will reimburse me for whatever I paid from my husband's income. I can't do that because I don't have any income. Zero. It's past the time to file the 30-day response thing. My husband and his lawyer convinced me to wait and just sign a contract out of court to make things go faster. So I waited and now I don't have any contract and it's too late to file a response.
