Landlord Is Getting Divorced And Forcing Us Out Of Home Need Advice Asap

So June I moved into a owner occupied unit and signed a lease for 12months 1bd 1 bth about 1800 sq/ft all utilities included even high speed internet for 2k a month. The place was basically the basement of the home which the LL was renovating to be a stand alone unit. They had all their kids belongings down there and in turn for bringing the toys up we could use the furniture if I wanted for the first month.

During the tour the landlord never mentioned any legal disputes. Since then Ive been going through hell dealing with their mess. The landlords spouse attempted to break into our portion of the unit to get to their partners side multiple times and still does so from time to time. They often circles the block in the mornings maybe twice a week. I have been followed from the home and recorded and had photos taken multiple times. I have a police report of their actions making me feel unsafe.

There are things the landlord has yet to deliver to me. I have been saving everything as far as promises, demands and requests.

The landlord has been threatening to take money out of the security deposit to threaten me for mistakes on their end. For instance they stated I can keep the furniture, which i ended up not using. They wanted to take money out of the deposit to get it cleaned. The spouse was breaking into the home I changed the locks on my own and the LL wanted to take money out of deposit to get new keys. The LL also wanted new background checks and wanted to take it out of the deposit. I refused all of those situations.

Now heres where I need help. The LL on 7/15 told me I have to move out bc they are losing the court battle and will just sale the house. They said I am expected to be out by Aug 1st so less than 15 days. They stated they will give me all of my money back in person. However today 7/16 i got a text from them saying I will get my full deposit returned when I move out with no mention of the rest of the money. I paid 1st and last months rent plus deposit and recently July rent on the 1st. I have all receipts

Also I feel its unfair I have to randomly find a new place and to find a unit in my area with these same specs. I dont know any lawyers or how to start this process to make sure I am fairly compensated for the inconvenience. I believe a 15k pay out may be justifiable for instance all my money back thus far -8k a few months rent -6k. and things like moving costs - uhaul, app fees, helping hands, gas to go and tour units and calling off work to try to find something asap. this is not including emotional damage of what im going through.
