Lease Offer Revoked Due To Claims Of An Ai Mistake (colorado)

Two weeks ago, my apartment complex emailed and texted me an offer for a 13 month lease at a rate of $2,110/month. The email stated that the offer was valid through the end of my current lease and was signed by our complex. My wife and I were on our honeymoon at the time, so I didn't respond. Last week, they emailed me with a new offer, without the 13 month lease, but instead with an 11 month lease of $2,103 or a 12 month for over $2,300 (apparently too many leases end in September and they are trying to mitigate that).

For context, our complex is owned by a regional property management company. Our current 12 month lease for $2,103 ends in September. We have lived here for 3 years, and our first lease was a 13 month lease, but they have since stopped offering it.

I spoke with my complex manager and emailed the corporate office about this, but both stated that the original offer was invalid since it was generated by AI. As I noted, the original email was signed from our complex, and all emails and links in the email traced back to either our complex or the property management. I've been emailing them back and forth for a few days, but they seem to be staying put that they won't honor their original offer.

I understand that a 2 month and $14 difference (in their favor) is a silly hill to die on, but, frankly, I want the 13 month lease because it locks in our rate, and if we decide we want to move at the end of the lease, we will be in a more pleasant month to move in, so the $7 is fine to me. The 11 month offer has the opposite effect, and I won't be electing to raise my rent by $200. Besides, what is stopping them from claiming AI made a mistake on anything going forward.

I know that in recent years, Colorado has enacted some of the nations strongest protections for renters, but I'm not sure if this would fall into that category. Is it worth getting a lawyer and or the state involved?
