Lyft Passenger Assaulted

I’m going to try to make this quick and simple just because I don’t want to keep reliving this memory and still very emotional/embarrassed about it all.

Early this morning, Nov 1st,26, I was sexually assaulted by Lyft driver around 1am here in location: NC . I just finished celebrating Halloween and what started out as normal driver took a turn for the worst( sorry I have to use humor to stop from crying). He was making inappropriate comments about my outfits, groping me from the front season, and made a stop, assaulting me in the back seat. I’ve already made a claim to Lyft and was told that they would “reach out to the driver” and “take action on situation” but wouldn’t tell me what these actions were going to be or if I could have the driver contact information to file a report. If I’m being honest from their rep energy it doesn’t look like much is going to be done.
I don’t know what to do next and the waiting is giving me anxiety. Is there any advice or someone who has experience something like this might know what to do next? I haven’t told my family yet due to them being overly protective and also just embarrassed to face them about any of this. Please send help!
