Medication Bottle Has Wrong Dosage And Directions

About a month ago I got prescribed welbutrin by this NP at my counseling clinic. She told me that I would take 1 150mg tablet for 1 week then increase to 2 tablets after, so 300mg total. I picked up my prescription a couple days later and the initial side effects hit me pretty hard of insomnia, increased anxiety, no appetite, etc. anyways, the side effects didn’t calm down until nearly two weeks, and I didn’t want to experience that again especially because the semester was starting up and I’m in pretty rigorous coursess. By week 3 I kept telling myself I would increase the following morning, but still continued to only take one. A few days ago, I went to use the barcode on the bottle to get a refill online, and I realized that the bottle said “Welbutrin 300 mg” with directions “take 1 tablet for 1 week then increase to 2 everyday” so that means I’ve been taking 300mg this whole time when I thought it was only 150mg, and if I followed through with taking 2 I would have been taking 600mg. Doctors wont prescribe more then ~450mg because past that it gets dangerous with side effects like seizures, psychosis, etc. So anyways, I know the NP meant to describe 150mg considering our conversation, so I’m thinking there was a miscommunication somewhere between her and the pharmacy. A friend of mine is a pharm tech and she said that they are supposed to check labels and call the prescriber if the dose seems unusually high to confirm it’s correct. Anyways, I fortunately was able to tolerate, but I’m wondering if there’s any legal steps or if something like this is more common than I might realize? I just think it could be so dangerous to have wrong dosages and misprinted directions like this!

TLDR; prescription bottle had wrong dosage and misprinted directions that could have ended very dangerously. Any advice on legal steps or confrontation?
