My 14 Year Old Wants To Come Live With Me Full-time

My 14 year old daughter has been expressing a desire to come live with me and my wife for the last year. Her mother and I have been divorced for about 6 years, and her mother has primary custody of her and my 10 year old daughter. My ex wife has always been, to be blunt, a nightmare. She's bipolar and refuses to take medication, and she's always been extremely mean and cruel. Recently, things have been getting worse between my 14 year old and her mother, and she has asked us several times to come live with us. In the state we live in, Georgia, once a child turns 14 they're allowed to go before a judge and decide who they want to live with. My question is, My ex wife won't want her to come live with us, she won't want to give up the child support money and she won't want it to happen so I imagine she'll fight it. Will her resisting make a difference with the judges decision? Thanks in advance for any insight or advice.
