My Online Friend Reported My Sister To Cps, Should I Be Worried?
(Location: CO)
For all privacy reasons names will be changed and ages as well but they are all within range. My sister and I were in an online friend group which consisted of two couples, the other two aren't relevant so I won't get it I specifics. Glen M(17), Glen's GF Emily F(16). The other couple are adults, however they aren't involved in the situation as far as I am aware. We have been in said friend group for about 3 months. My sister and I are both minors. In total the group has about 9 people (Not all of us hangout), the main group being my sister and I, plus the two couples. My sister was talking about something that happened when she was younger. Our parents were also thinking about getting divorced, to which Glen and Emily offered to stay on call with us so we didn't feel alone. Our parents didn't end up separating. (The situation I think she reported about was already handled but not in court or anything legally involved it happened a bit over two years ago), which then Emily reported to CPS/ our local law enforcement. I am also not aware of Glen knows about it but I am assuming he does. It wasn't over text I am pretty sure it happened while they were in call. It has only been about an hour, no one has reached out yet. Prior to this we had a similar issue but will another woman who falsely reported my sister to CPS under different circumstances, but still having similarities with this one enough I think it may cause concern. They attempted to talk to us the first time however didn't. I do not know what she said with Emily in the call because I left right when she joined. However when my sister joined their call Emily sent a message letting her know what she did and my sister immediately left the call and told me to block them, I think she is trying to reach out to Glen to see if he is aware of what she did and work from there.
My main question is if they can actually do anything or will look into it seriously as it happened a while ago and was I assume already looked into prior, they didn't have any screenshots of anything similar being said, it was an anonymous tip about something said in a call, (They don't live in our state but got my sisters location from her snap map and reported it locally I assume). I just don't know what to really do about it, I know there nothing I can do I just want to know hypothetically if it got looked at what to expect.
Small edit for clarification: (I am planning on updating this later when my mind is not as panicked, but the issues was self harm related on the first tip and the second I think also had self harm included as well as the issue with my parents divorce and us being on call with them because we were stressed and prior issue with our parents that aren't issues currently.)
