Need Advice For New Rental House

Location: Florida signed a lease for a townhouse in Florida and paid roughly $18,400 upfront, including four months’ rent and a double security deposit. I toured it twice beforehand, and there were no visible issues.
When I picked up the keys, there was a loud commercial drying fan running in the bathroom. Nobody had mentioned a AC leak/flood or ongoing repairs.
I asked the vendor why it was there. He confirmed in writing that the AC above the bathroom had leaked and that water was trapped underneath the vinyl flooring that wouldn’t dry. The bathroom floor is lifting and apparently needs to be replaced.
Based on the timeline the vendor gave me, this happened before I signed the lease, while I was still arranging payments. I wasn’t told about it before signing or getting the keys.
The vendor sent photos showing the earlier cleanup involved multiple rooms, lifted carpet, fans, and dehumidifiers. To be clear, by the time I got the keys, only the bathroom fan remained. The toilet and sink work, and I haven’t seen confirmed mold. My concern is the unresolved flooring and whether everything underneath has actually dried.
Management says they’ll fix it ASAP. After I sent a detailed complaint, their response was that a contractor had been dispatched and would contact me. I still don’t have a firm completion date.

I haven’t moved my belongings in yet, but I need to move soon. I liked the place and would rather have everything properly repaired than start the whole housing search over.
For anyone who has dealt with this:

Would you move in while the bathroom floor is being repaired, and what documentation would you request first?

Would you try to get the lease terminated since they concealed this?

Have you successfully negotiated a rent credit for something like this?

I’m looking for realistic advice. I’m frustrated that I paid this much upfront and had to find out about the damage myself on key day.
