Need Help On What To Do About Finance Lender

Florida Lender says I owe money on a car I paid off, and their records make absolutely no sense
I’m in Florida and have been dealing with this issue with my lender for over a year now, and I honestly don’t know what else to do.
I have a 2024 Honda Civic that I completely paid off in July 2025. I have the bank statements from my Truist accountshowing the payoff payment. About two months after I paid it off, the lender started sending repo agents looking for my car.
I’ve contacted the lender multiple times and keep getting told that they “can’t see” my payment. I have literally provided the bank statements showing that the payment was made.
I eventually filed a complaint with the CFPB, and the lender responded to the CFPB with information that makes absolutely no sense.
According to their response, they claim my vehicle service contract started on July 6, 2002, and that my payoff amount is somehow linked to a $1,000 payment from Wells Fargo.
Here’s where I’m completely confused: my car is a 2024 Honda Civic. How could the vehicle/service contract have started in 2002, 22 years before the car even existed?
And I didn't have a Wells Fargo account when I paid off the vehicle. I had a Truist account, and I have the statements to prove it.
At this point, I'm wondering if there is some kind of massive data-entry/system error or if my account has somehow been mixed up with someone else's information.
What makes this even more frustrating is that the lender keeps sending repo agents after my car, but they refuse to properly address these discrepancies. Now they're basically telling me that they want me to give up my car before they'll even talk to me about resolving the issue.
I have documentation showing the payoff, bank statements, and the response they sent to the CFPB.
Has anyone in Florida dealt with something like this? How can a lender have a 2002 contract date attached to a 2024 vehicle, claim a $1,000 payment from a bank I wasn't using, and then continue trying to repossess the car after I've provided proof that I paid it off?
I’d really appreciate advice on how to navigate or what laws I can use cause This is getting exhausting and I love my car but I am so badly wanting to get rid of it just so I can escape this situation
