pg and e has replaced the power pole near my property but outside the fence. They've had to place a new guy wire anchor and have done so about 5 feet inward onto my yard. Its smack dab in the middle of the walkway and is blocking access the the play yard. I have a daycare. They left a gaping hole surrounding and old cut cables. While the old pole anchor was outside my fenceline between the neibor and i's fences. Which was fine.. this though is crazy. I Got an email in respinse saying theyre done with the job. When i asked about the new anchor this was the response. :

Thanks for reaching out to us with your question. No easement documents were found for this property. The pole adjacent to the property is within the ******** drive right-of-way. The guy wire and anchor that is attached to the pole appears to be on the property. However, PG&E has a claim of rights by prescription for the anchor and guy wire because they have been there and visible to previous owners for greater than 5 years – the pole was originally installed in 1935.

*** is this really legal. Its a total hazard to children who come here every day and there was no contacting the property owner or anything. Thank you.
