Will This Backfire On Me?
Location: Pennsylvania
So a little over a week ago (and there's reason that isn't relevant that i waited until now to report it) I was assaulted by my fiances sister on camera. Things you need to know are me and my fiance were living in his grandmother's house and she was in the hospital. all of us were the only ones involved in this who lived there and had it as our legal address. fiances dad and step mom live next door. Dad is D, Stepmother is T, sister is A, and Fiance is F. A is T and D's daughter. They've also been trying to kick us out of the house, so we have since gotten an apartment.
so F's aunts and T accused us of stealing money from F's grandmother (which we did not) and A came over screaming her head off saying she was going to grab somebody and it wouldn't be pretty. T was telling her to calm down and so A went and punched her in the face. this was on the security camera. I started recording for my own safety and A saw and lunged at me. she tried to grab my phone from me and she hit me. F put her in a chokehold to pull her off of me and then after letting go picked up his shotgun that had fallen on the floor and racked it. He did NOT point it at her but we were wondering if there was any way that he could be charged due to having done that, even though he did not intend to use it and did not point it at her. i don't intend on pressing charges on her I just wanna make a report so that there's a paper trail of it if she does anything more.
Could he be arrested or charged with anything in the event i do make a report? I have video from my phone as well as the security camera of her coming at me, hitting her mother, and him saying he didnt point it at her in conversation after the fact.
