Witness Harassing Me
Location: NH Without getting into too much detail I am facing 2 criminal cases. The prosecution’s “star” witness in both is my next door neighbor. I have been VERY careful not to have any interaction w/ him for the nearly 2 years this has dragged on. That being said, he recently ran for public office and lost. I received numerous political ads for his campaign but all were sent from different organizations. HOWEVER, I did receive 2 letters from him addressed to me w/ his return address along with a self addressed envelope w/ his address for a BS survey.
How can I use this to my advantage here? I’m careful not to do anything that could be misconstrued as witness tampering but here is someone who will likely be testifying against trying to purposely get me to engage w/ them along w/, what I would consider to be, harassment. I haven’t spoken w/ my lawyer about this as I wanted to throw out a feeler 1st. Thank you.
