Manjack arrived as an undrafted free agent from TCU and quickly became a fan favorite in camp and preseason. He had a great first preseason game and looked good in the role he played. As we noted this summer, that was something he had to do to get interest from coaches:
Manjack IV will need to have a strong summer if he wants to stick around. Obviously, making plays as a wide receiver helps, but his ability to block and contribute on special teams might be more important for him. Being able to contribute in multiple ways will significantly improve his chances of making the practice squad and force the Broncos to find a way to keep him.
The wide receiver room is pretty stacked this season, though, and it was unlikely any undrafted rookie would crack into the top 53, I would bet he is a strong candidate for the practice squad as a rookie and that should definitely please Broncos Country.
